Grenea is the sixth of seven kids, and some of her sweetest memories come from following her mother into the kitchen. While her mom cooked and baked, Grenea found herself drawn to the rhythm and precision of baking—the way a recipe could be both exact and endlessly creative.

She started out sharing her cakes and desserts with family, friends, and coworkers, and soon word spread: Gigi's Sweet Treats weren't just good, they were grandma's-house good. Later, working at The Well in Lakeland and surrounded by other entrepreneurs, Grenea felt the spark to take her passion further and build a business of her own.
